A THIRD of workers coming up to retirement think they made the wrong choice of career, research shows.
A quarter believe they stayed in their job for too long, while a tenth wished they had ducked university and gone straight into paid employment.
The survey of 500 people over 60 found almost three-quarters had significant regrets about their choice of work.
Most said they wised they could have experienced more of the job-hopping that has become common.
